Avocado Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup shredded cheese of choice raw cheddar works well; use dairy-free cheese for a DF version
  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • everything but the bagel seasoning (optional) sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, dried onion, dried garlic, poppy seeds, sea salt

Method
 

  1. Mix the egg, shredded cheese and avocado together until well combined.
  2. Add to a lined baking sheet and form into desired-size rounds (makes 3).
  3. If using, sprinkle everything but the bagel seasoning on top.
  4. Bake at 400F for 30 minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Enjoy in a variety of ways, as a bread substitute, with toppings, or as a base for open sandwiches.
